What started as a fun way for the Wheatley Creek Services team to show up at Destination Granby’s 4th of July Parade – Party at the Park and Music & Market quickly turned into something much juicier. We squeezed a whole lot of lemons, met some wonderful neighbors, sold out, and somewhere along the way, our little lemonade stand officially became Main Squeeze Lemon Co.

Now we’re taking this fresh-squeezed adventure to Hot Dogger Saturday at Country Ace Hardware! Destination Granby will be serving hot dogs and collecting donations to support its work in our community, while the Main Squeeze crew keeps the lemonade cold and the local goodness flowing. Come grab a hot dog, buy a fresh-squeezed lemonade, and say hello. After all, hot dogs and lemonade are a pretty perfect summertime squeeze.

Come sip on a fresh-squeezed lemonade, say hello to the Main Squeeze crew, and meet Destination Granby’s board president – plot twist: that’s Wheatley Creek Services COO, Kasy Allen! Country Ace Hardware will provide the hot dogs, with donations benefiting Destination Granby and its work to keep our community vibrant, welcoming, and downright fun. Main Squeeze Lemon Co. will be there selling lemonade, because nothing washes down a hot dog quite like a cold cup of local goodness.

Honestly? Because community is about more than putting your logo on a banner. Wheatley Creek Services was built right here in Grand County. This is where we live, work, raise our families, employ our neighbors, and serve homeowners and businesses. We believe being a local company means showing up – not only when someone needs a house cleaned, a room painted, or a project completed, but also when the community comes together.

Our lemonade stand started as a fun way for the Wheatley Creek team to participate in local events. We thought we would squeeze a few lemons, meet some neighbors, and have a good time. Then we sold out… and realized we had created something people genuinely enjoyed.

That little stand has since grown into Main Squeeze Lemon Co., a business of its own with the same community-minded spirit behind it. For us, it’s about creating joyful experiences, supporting the events and organizations that make Grand County special, and giving our team another way to connect with the people we serve. It also gives us room to experiment, learn, and build something new, because apparently running one growing local business wasn’t quite enough excitement for us.

No, lemonade has nothing to do with cleaning, painting, or remodeling. But bringing people together, serving them well, and making our community a little brighter? That has everything to do with Wheatley Creek Services.

Main Squeeze Lemon Co. is fresh-squeezed local goodness, and one more way we’re choosing to show up for the place we call home. 🍋

So, the plan is simple: show up, buy a lemonade, grab a hot dog, meet a few neighbors, and leave a donation for Destination Granby. It’s local businesses supporting a local organization while bringing the community together, and that’s a pretty great way to spend a Saturday. Especially when fresh-squeezed lemonade is involved.
